Holland caps Blackwater visit with top-ten in Saturday finale
In all, a consistent weekend in the Sunshine State for Mississippi's own Chase Holland, joining the ULTIMATE Southeast Super Late Model Series for the two-day Blackwater Classic at Blackwater Speedway in Baker, Florida. When the dust finally settled, Holland, new to the super late model ranks, found himself with back-to-back top-12 finishes, scoring an 11th-place run in Friday's $4,000-to-win preliminary and an eighth-place run in Saturday's $7,000-to-win finale. Impressive enough, Holland advanced three positions to secure his top-ten appearance, finishing just behind Jason Riggs of College Grove, Tennessee.
